Album Notes

Valerie Sue Muller is a talented vocal artist and performer in concert, opera and musical theater. Valerie has appeared on stage around the world, from Italy to Japan, and has performed in front of thousands across the country from New Jersey to California, and everywhere in between. Equally at home singing with a piano, a cappella, or with a 50-piece orchestra, she has entertained and inspired audiences with her unique talent and her rich and powerful voice. Valerie started singing at a very young age. Her classical vocal training has laid a foundation from which Valerie has been able to build a strong musical identity that is truly her own. She brings such joy of spirit and professional musicianship to her performances, which span the gamut of musical tastes. She has performed leading and featured roles in such productions as Die Fledermaus, The Elixir of Love, The Magic Flute, The Mikado, Don Giovanni, Carmen, The Merry Widow, Oklahoma, Dames at Sea, and Anything Goes and has appeared with such companies as The New Jersey State Opera, New York Grand Opera, Opera Northeast, Tri-Cities Opera, Delaware Valley Opera, Opera Music Theater International, Central Florida Lyric Opera, and The Rome Festival. She has been a featured soloist with the Musical Revue Troupe "In Love With Broadway" as well as with the ever popular St. Peter By the Sea Orchestra, New Jersey. Valerie recently released her debut CD, "Lights", a collection of spiritual and inspirational music. "Stages," her second CD, features ... what else, but songs from the stage ... and showcases her versatility and beauty. She collaborated with pianist/conductor David Maiullo on both recording projects. Valerie is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned a degree in voice and opera performance.
