Inner Turmoil: A loose concept album about dreams, and the unresolved issues in life that are brought to the surface by those dreams! Features a lot of Mellotron work throughout the album!

Review: It is very rare that a musical endeavor that is extremely artistic captivates listeners immediately. Vutdevuk's "Inner Turmoil" succeeds in doing this many times over. From the downbeat of "Trying to Leave," one may find themselves entranced in the piano melody which is placed so carefully throughout the song. Influences appear to be present in many genres, particularly Depeche Mode and the sounds of the early 70's King Crimson and their extensive use of the mellotron keyboard instrument. Take for example another masterpiece, "Autumn Comes." Its musical textures and haunting melodies literally transcend beyond the song itself and invoke to the listener a sense of the changing of the seasons. These are not just "art rock" songs but very crafty compositions that send the listener on a journey of emotions and reveal dramatic inner-struggles that go hand in hand with many of lives disappointments, whether it is of a love gone wrong, or feeling torn between reality and a world created by dreams. Artist Description: Vutdevuk is a studio project led by Brady Arnold who does all the instruments and vocals out of his home studio. The style of music is progressive pop-rock alternative. Brady Arnold (Vutdevuk) has made a total of nine studio albums since 1993. Vutdevuk is known for the heavy use of the Mellotron keyboard especially on the last two albums! The most recent CD (soon to be released) is called Archive which will feature 29 trax on two discs! This two disc set will feature mostly rare unreleased tracks from 1993 to 2005 highlighting 12 years of Vutdevuk!
