Retroactive features songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s played bluegrass style by Tim White (banjo), Dave Vaught (guitar) and Albert Blackburn (bass). Songs like “All I Have to Do is Dream” (The Everly Brothers), “Fire on the Mountain” (The Marshall Tucker Band) and “Amie” (Pure Prairie League) will especially appeal to Baby-boomers and everyone who loves music from that era. There are also fun songs like “Rag Mop”, “The Ugly Girl Blues” and “The Rooster Song” that will leave a smile on your face long after the last notes have sounded.
The trio combines wonderful harmonies and solid musicianship with elements of magic and a large helping of jokes that all come together to create a fun and hilarious variety show. It is obvious to all who have attended their shows that this is a group of men who clearly enjoy each other’s company, who know how to entertain and who respect the bluegrass music that we all love.
