ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Retroactive features songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s played bluegrass style by Tim White (banjo), Dave Vaught (guitar) and Albert Blackburn (bass). Songs like “All I Have to Do is Dream” (The Everly Brothers), “Fire on the Mountain” (The Marshall Tucker Band) and “Amie” (Pure Prairie League) will especially appeal to Baby-boomers and everyone who loves music from that era. There are also fun songs like “Rag Mop”, “The Ugly Girl Blues” and “The Rooster Song” that will leave a smile on your face long after the last notes have sounded.

The trio combines wonderful harmonies and solid musicianship with elements of magic and a large helping of jokes that all come together to create a fun and hilarious variety show. It is obvious to all who have attended their shows that this is a group of men who clearly enjoy each other’s company, who know how to entertain and who respect the bluegrass music that we all love.
