Vyndykator was a supergroup formed in 2001 consisting of ex-Attacker vocalist Bob Mitchell, Alchemy X bassist Steve Ratchen, Hail & Kill guitarist Rob Oriani, ex-Sneak Attack/Dog Eat Dog drummer Mark Mari and ex-Dahmer\'s Fridge guitarist Bill Pena
\"Heaven sent from hell\" was their debut album, released on Athen\'s Unisound Records in 2003- mixing equal parts thrash, old-school power metal, with elements of neo-classical, speed and prog metal, Vyndykator was truly an innovative act, reflecting the varied influences of their disparate members
Vyndykator electrified live audiences with their break-neck speed yet highly intricate pieces- they drew rave reviews for their performances at the Cleveland Classic Metal fest in 2002 and Chicago Metal fest in 2003
Sadly, Rob Oriani passed away in November 2006 while the band were working on a follow-up to HSFH- subsequently, it\'s members have returned to their signature bands and continued to make records- However, Vyndykator and the Heaven Sent from Hell album continue to stand out as a tribute to Mr Oriani
