Album Notes

While on tour in May 07 with the Dutch Jazz virtuosos What?!? Ofer met Angelika before the concert at the Center for Experimental Communities -ZEGG - a former Stasi camp training Romeos to seduce female politicians in the west. After an hour of playing together he invited her for a guest solo with What?!? A tour with the Austrian violinist
Herwig Stroebl followed that summer and two more tours in October and May with other artists often joining the conspiracy as guests. Sonja Poland and 10 piece AfroBeat collaborated in southern Germany and dance group lent a visual twist to the story of Lysistrata - who places an ultimatum before the men : familyfun or war games. Conspiracy of Love have become the favorites of the war resisters movement in Germany playing big-band-klezmer renditions of the songs on the CD with the 12 piece Klezmischpoche mentioned in the first song. They provide spiritual guidance with an Indian accent to Germans on how to let go - laugh - and dare to dance and practical guidance to Israelis on how to avoid the military and break with maffiazed religion to kiss God. The Free Gaza movement, Anis Hamadah, Amnesty, Bernadette, War Resisters International, Fanny Michaella and a growing list of individuals , small theaters, cabarets, churches and culture centers joined the conspiracy in 2008. After a year they had polished their repertoire to recordable essence and are placing it on the CDBABY alter on the same week as their CD release tour www.ofermusic.com
