Heaven on earth
author: Leslie Mandus
Fortunate enough to live someplace where I heard Trent live on the radio, I then went the next night to hear him locally. Then I bought all his CDs,and then I sent Adrienna Valentine to 10 friends in the US. I can not say enough about Trent. I know of no other current song writer and musician who:
~crafts more extraordinary songs with each new album - whose talent grows, rather than diminishes with time
~is a superbly talented singer, songwriter AND musician
~has a supernatural ability to write songs whose words are orginal and haunting, with music that completely matches the qualities of the songs
and who is just a pure, pure spirit.
If you do not find yourself moved by Corinne or Strongest Wind Blows, you are not alive. Trent is reason enough to move to Virginia -and he makes one know why it matters to live south of the Mason Dixon line. I have seen him twice more live- and each show was superb. One wants to be around to catch every new song. And every album has songs that I will cherish forever. See him if you can - scoop up his albums and share his music -
a true fresh voice, a truly gifted musician, an amazing poet ... a gift to an empty century.

I saw Trent Wagler and Jay Lapp at the Ards Guitar Festival and was just amazed at how good they are. I bought this album in the foyer afterwards and ever since my whole family have been in thrall. Even Dudley (our small dog) joins in with Today. This album is quite wonderful: Astral Weeks quality.
