Album Notes

Los Angeles based 4-piece Wait Think Fast is a union of haunted pianos, wistful voices, driving guitars, and cinematic rhythms. Wait Think Fast is a blend of cultures, a longing for other places, and a channeling of things aged and things modern. Songs sometimes in English, sometimes in Spanish-- but always darkly lyrical and inspired.

Vocalist and Pianist Jacqueline Santillan, guitarist Apolinar Quintero, drummer Ramiro Saucedo and bassist Matthew Beighley came together in an orange, windowless room just south of downtown Los Angeles in early 2006 to form Wait Think Fast. They recorded a self-titled E.P. with Dave Newton (The Mighty Lemon Drops) the summer of that year and soon were performing all over Los Angeles to great acclaim (Spaceland, The Echo, Silverlake Lounge to name a few). 2007 has brought even bigger and better shows, guest appearances on local radio stations such as KXLU and Killradio and a tour up the coast including San Francisco, Oakland, Eugene, Portland and Seattle.
