Album Notes

Windsong and Kat del Rio are both singer/songwriters, living in southern Oregon. They have been professional musicians and recording artists for many years, performing as soloists or in their band, sharing their positive music at festivals, concerts, conferences and benefits throughout the Pacific Northwest. Their songs portray beautiful images of nature and invoke powerful thoughts. Songs such as Windsong’s “Mother I Feel You” and Kat’s “River Is Rising” have become popular in circles around the world, bringing people together in harmony and respect for the Earth. This 2006 CD Release, “Wake Up The Vision” has the accompaniment of a full band called the “SpiritEarth Band.” Players on the recording include Tom Reilly on fretless bass and tenor saxophone, Abe on drums, Shanti Martin on lead guitar, Buzz on lead guitar, and several songs include the very popular Bear Dyken (of the band ClanDyken) contributing lead guitar, vocals, harmonica and flute. Also Glenno Falkenberg of Eugene adds a tasty lead guitar. Other musicians include Reggae musician, Olivi on percussion, and Ohana Martin and Somer Moon on backup vocals.
