Walker Ikard
International Singer/Songwriter

Walker Ikard is impacting the music industry with a new CD titled “ You Need To Love Everybody”.

Ikard, known world-wide for his songwriting and singing , is a native of North Alabama.

Walker is the son of the late James Edd Ikard and late Osie “Whitaker” Ikard. His mother, Osie, was mainly responsible for his love of music. Osie was a talented songwriter , singer and musician. Osie taught Walker how to write songs, perform , play the guitar and piano.

He is a graduate of Northeast State at Rainsville, Alabama, as well as UAH of Huntsville, Alabama. Walker taught school in North Alabama for several years. Although he loved his teaching career, he decided to further his music career full-time.

His decision to pursue his music has proven to be very successful , for he has charted in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other areas around the world, many times, with his music.

Walker’s music was featured recently in a World Premier Play , “Perky’s Crown of Beauty”. Several of his songs were featured such as the world-famous “Nothin’ But A Rat Race”, “I’m Gonna Write A Song About Mama”, “You’re Just Another Country Song I‘ll Write”, “Talking To The Walls”, “You Put The Sunshine Back In My Life” and his world-famous “ I Still Get High On You”!

Walker’s latest release , “You Need To Love Everybody”, is a different-side of Walker Ikard!!! This extraordinary man has produced a CD that sends a message the world is hungry to hear!!!

This CD is a Country /Spiritual. It’s about “LOVE”, that is loving your lady, loving your fellowman and loving your country.
