From the optimistic opening guitars of “More Good Days” to the gentle brush snare and mandolin of “At The Airport,” Scott Andrew's fifth independent release is an early-summer roadtrip of bittersweet acoustic pop tempered with shades of rock n' roll ferocity. Themes of reconciliation and personal redemption collide with wry head-scratching over stumbling relationships, as electric guitars and organ washes seek to emulate the occasional sunbeams piercing the clouds of the Pacific Northwest.

Although Andrew played the lion's share of instruments, Save You From Yourself is anything but a lonely solo effort. Reaching out to his community of singer-songwriter peers in his hometown of Seattle, Andrew enlisted Jerin Falkner, Laurie Katherine Carlsson and Alissa Jandt for harmony vocal duties, as well as respected multi-instrumentalist Michael Spaly (Creeping Time) for violin and mandolin.
