This is not your mothers' Christmas CD! Sure, all the standards are here, but you've NEVER heard them like this! Thanks to Mike's incredible fingerstyle arrangements, this could be your best Christmas yet. Jolly Old St. Nick and Ave Maria are bestowing Joy To The World. You're taking a walk in the Winter Wonderland after Decking the Halls with Rudolph and the Little Drummer Boy. It's a Silent Night, your Jingling your Bells, Frosty is having a Blue Christmas and all the while Santa is (still) Coming To Town. Make this a Christmas to remember!

Mike started out playing solo for school ice cream socials and moved on to the garage band scene in Jr. High and High School. Taking it a step farther, Mike earned a BA in guitar and a Masters in Theory and Composition. After school, he took a job playing a wide variety of instruments in the pit orchestra for a local dinner theater. He took a stab at touring, but after a couple of years found that smelling like diesel fuel wasn't exactly part of his dream.

Upon returning to his hometown of Moline, IL Mike did the cover band tune thing for a while. It didn't take long to decide that his heart was really in acoustic music so he returned to composing and performing solo. He can be found performing in the Iowa/Illinois region where he has a very loyal following. Years of customizing and hot-rodding his own equipment eventually led to the opening of his own store, Wallace Music, where he can be found repairing and restoring string instruments.
