"Minivan Troubadour" is the latest CD from singer/songwriter Bob Wallis. It features great performances by drummer Jeff Moehle, bassist Mark Ziegler, and guitarist Mark Turner. It was mixed by Martin Klemm at the Kalamazoo Recording Company (drums recorded at Quarter Point Studios).
Bob's most popular single, "Song for my Son" from his debut CD "Can't Stop the World" has sold numerous copies on iTunes, Napster, and CDBaby.
"Barn Song" is an early favorite among fans of this CD. The title track, "Minivan Troubadour", was featured on NPR's Car Talk in 2008.
This project made possible in part by a grant from the Arts Fund of Kalamazoo County through the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.
The CD features photography by Aubrey Jewel Hardaway and design by Andy Mead.

Pop Music for the Whole Family

Wow...great album! My favorite is "One More Time" - a pop-ode to living in the moment and being in love (while knowing it may not always last). I also love "Minivan Troubadour," a catchy pop song that begs the question, "Can I rock AND drive a minivan?" The album is a mix of radio-friendly pop and piano ballads about family and relationships. Check out the first line of "Abigail Rose." It just knocks me out!
