His songs are imaginative, utterly creative. Matter Of Time is the follow-up to Wally Ford's debut CD Lizzards Like Me, an experimental CD, mostly rock, but including some hip-hop tendencies, funk, and even a novelty country song entitled "Will Sign Record Deal For Food." Matter Of Time features his former touring band and is a moment-in-time where five talented musicians got together to shake-up the Memphis music scene. Drummer Daren Dortin now tours with Jimbo Mathus, while most of the other former bandmembers have splintered into different bands. Matter Of Time was recorded and released in 1996, but sounds as good as anything you'll hear today. Wally Ford's alter ego Jimmy The Pervert is heavily downloaded on the internet and worth checking-out (if you're not too squeamish). There's NO ONE like Wally Ford....
