What a voice!

We first heard Wanda on Bluesville, the XM radio station. What a revelation - the cleanest, strongest, clearest female voice I've heard in a long time. Add a sense of humor and some fine arrangements, and every cut on this album is a gem. (Side note: I fear that the album cover sends the wrong message - it looks like an old, classic blues album cover rather than the cover of a modern, hip, uptempo blues album. but then again, as they say, you should never judge an album by its cover)
