THE WANDERING ENDORPHIN
The sounds you are about to hear all spring from the vision of one man. One man who decided that the well-worn paths that other musicians adhere to were not the proper routes for his own creativity. That man is Jim Green, a.k.a. THE WANDERING ENDORPHIN. His weapon of choice is the acoustic guitar, although he is no casual strummer and singer. Rather, he attacks his instrument with both hands, drawing forth percussive rhythms, harmonics, and double pull-offs with a piano-like approach that often sounds like one more guitar than is actually playing, all done in real time with no sampling or looping devices to be found. When he does expose his singer/songwriter side, he employs a plainly spoken vocal style that keeps the listeners focus on the lyric at hand. Inhabiting a musical world that is equally informed by Michael Hedges, Jeff Buckley, and Kurt Cobain, THE WANDERING ENDORPHIN does his best to create the same euphoric feelings in his audience as the small-chain peptides do from which he takes his name.
ABOUT THE CD:
For a musician, writing a mixture of rock based, and melancholy sounding songs is one way of getting over a break-up. This CD is the end result of that outlet. A combination of EXTREME INNOVATIVE ACOUSTIC GUITAR TECHNIQUES, w/ vocals, and of-course, lots of emotions make up this recording.

Jim,
I think your music is unique, but I don't know if you should be praised or arrested for assault and battery on an innocent guitar. While most guitarists
treat their instruments "like a lady", you seem to treat yours like the bad guy in a Jackie Chan movie! Every inch of your victim is fair game... from neck to sides, every bit is tapped, thrapped and generally struck... are you sure you where not born to be a drummer (or a prison
guard)?
Keep up the good work,
Daiv
