Jeremy Wando began playing guitar when he was 15, and shortly thereafter he started to play in the youth group band at The Rock of Panama City, the church he was attending in Florida. It was around this time that he met Ariel Ainsworth, a man he now recognizes as his spiritual father or apostle. Apostle Ariel, then the Youth Pastor at The Rock, began encouraging Jeremy to sit by himself in his room with his guitar and worship Yahweh with whatever poured out of his spirit. Though Jeremy had never really sung in the youth band, Apostle Ariel began encouraging him in that as well. In this time, through just worshipping the Father, Jeremy began to write songs declaring not only his love for the Father, but truly expressing Yahweh's desire for a relationship with His people. He also began flowing prophetically in his music and found that if he would just release out of his heart, the heart of a faithful son of God, that songs he had never played or heard before would flow out of his spirit through his guitar and in his singing.
In 1997, at the word of the Lord, Jeremy moved to Burlington, Vermont to help Apostle Ariel start a church, now known as The Rock of Greater Burlington. Within a few years, Jeremy was leading praise and worship at The Rock. He was continuing to write songs and to perfect his craft even further, all the while worshipping Yahweh in everything he did. As the church in Burlington grew and more people had the opportunity to hear Jeremy's music and to experience his evangelistic ministry, it soon became apparent that they were hearing something they had never heard - something, in fact, that most people have never heard. People would come up to him after hearing him play, telling him how their life had been changed by something he had said or that they had been healed just by listening to his music and receiving the message of the kingdom brought forth in his ministry.
So, in Yahweh's perfect timing and in response to an increasing demand for his music, Jeremy has recorded his debut CD entitled "The Sound." To categorize or compare Jeremy's music to anyone else is impossible. He has his own unique sound, inspired by his mature relationship with Yahweh and born out of an overwhelming desire within him to release a demonstration of the true character of God to whoever is hungry. To hear Jeremy's music is to hear the voice of the Father expressing His heart for His people, crying out for relationship. Yahweh wants a people who will take the time to get to know Him and to become like Him, so that they may express Him in the earth. Jeremy's music enables anyone, anywhere, to encounter God and to enter in to the most fulfilling, meaningful relationship possible with the One who created the heavens and the earth, God Almighty, Yahweh.
