Album Notes
Crab Ass Records, a new locally-focused division of Crustacean Records, is proud to announce the arrival of their debut release, Warhawks’ Mobilize, on October 7th 2010. These Madison rockers have been part of the Upper Midwest punk scene for some time, with highlights including a show with skate punk legends US Bombs, plus dozens of regional and national touring acts.

With a thick history on the local music circuit, this long awaited release marks a triumph for a group of local Madison musicians who have been plagued by the dichotomy of conflict between passion for music and careers in the industry. Warhawks have battled against the quagmire of multiple lineup changes, as well as the part-time, second status that goes hand-in-hand with the big-time audio engineering commitments of their rhythm section (Atreyu, New Found Glory, Milwaukee Brewers).

Mobilize captures the history of the band to this point, a brief display of raw, traditional hardcore punk rock that has something to say about the state of the world in which we live. With this release in hand, Warhawks seek to expand their reach, impelling them to invade new territories by using their explosive live show to make a mark on the minds and hearts of listeners.
