Following the critical acclaim of 'Uncut Diamond' distributed by 'Acoustic Music Records/ Rough Trade' in northern Europe, hopes are high for Alex's third solo acoustic album 'Green To Blue' produced by Alex, Cris Fontecilla and a lot of help from long-time musical cohort Joan Vinyals. Available from January 2008, the new album flows along at a more upbeat pace than Uncut Diamond, but includes the heartfelt crafted ballads so characteristic of Alex's work. 'Green To Blue' reflects on friendship, love and loss, taking a fond and nostalgic look back at an idyllic childhood spent in the 'Green' of the Cotswolds in the UK, and 18 years in the 'Blue' of his Mediterranean adopted home - Barcelona, Spain. Once again, the group of international musicians who played on 'Green To Blue' includes some of the best talent in Spain and following successful festival and club appearances as the Alex Warner Trio in the UK, Germany and Spain featuring the talents of Joan and Cris the live show is also really coming into its own too.
