This CD is a departure from Warren's usual hard rock / heavy metal instrumental style. Heavily inspired by classic rock greats such as The Beatles, Traffic, Free, Blind Faith, Jimi Hendrix Experience, & The Zombies, Warren decided to create a different sounding CD - this is an instrumental ROCK CD. Although, this CD does not sound like any of those great bands, you may be able to hear or feel their spirit dancing through the tracks on this CD. Warren recorded this CD using only his Gibson Melody Maker, Danelectro '59 Original, and his Korg X50 - creating songs based on cool sounding progressions and grooves. Fans of Warren's Christmas/Winter CD - Snowbound - will really enjoy the Appleby Castle CD.
