The Joe Henderson Songbook
author: bill dennehy
I saw the Joe HEnderson Memorial Big Band at Yoshi's last night and Warren Gale is the leader. Both the show and this CD are great. Solid musicianship with great energy. I can't recommend it highly enough. Long live Joe!

Enjoyed arrangements, ensemble playing and solos
author: Warren Blaisdell
I enjoyed the CD from start to finish. Ensemble playing was solid, solos interesting with contrasting styles of respective artists, and I liked the arragements, especially on Punjab. Highly enjoyable music.

Outstanding trumpet playing on beautifully arranged jazz classics.
author: Brian Pendleton
