Album Notes

Warren is a melodic player with a solid grasp of modern jazz harmony. He is influenced by players such as: Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Kenny Burrell, Pat Martino, Ed Bickert and Jim Hall.

The DVD on Triadic Improvisation for Jazz Guitar demonstrates how triads can be used to create harmonic and melodic interest in your solos via triadic substitution. All musical examples are performed on a Martin CF-1 archtop and a vintage gibson 175.
