Album Notes

aWarren Wolf can play real rockabilly guitar with a high level of proficiency. His Gretsch guitar rips on rockabilly with jazzy overtones. The influence of Scotty Moore, Eddie Cochran, Cliff Gallup, Chuck Berry is in full force.

This is not psycobilly. Lyrically, it tells of contemporary issues instead of the usual pink cadillac, greasy kid stuff pompadour motif. Warren is not a poser. He is the real deal.

Guitar players will have their fingers in knots trying to copy Warren fiery licks. Being well-versed in jazz, Chet fingerstyle, and even Hendrix displays the depth of a man who has played guitar non-stop since 1963. Years of playing southern knife and gun clubs and a love for guitar playing yield contemporary rockabilly music.

Warren Wolf is the REAL DEAL!!!!

I must say that I am very impressed with the production of this album. Warren Wolf is the master of Rockabilly guitar licks and a fine singer as well. 'Buzz With Me' is the epitome of true Rockabilly music and Warren Wolf...well let's just say MOVE OVER, Chuck Berry!! His flashy guitar riffs and slap-echo reverb signify the album, making it the retro, hip, jumpin' CD that it is! It doesn't get any better with songs like 'Hillbilly Chicks On Speed' and 'Tiger Man'. I recommend this album...it is in my CD changer. AH.
