Album Notes

Wonderful Jazz Vocalist Ms Lynette Washington has sung with George Coleman, Clifford Jordan, Dennis Bell Jazz NY, U2, Lenny Kravitz, Alex Blake, Aretha Franklin and many others. She has assembled a great collection of original songs written specifically for this album by Gold/Platinum Award winning producer/pianist Dennis Bell. They span the seasonal celebrations of Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa and range from the haunting ballad "Long, Long Ago" to the Jazz Suite set to the text of Clement Clark Moore's "A Visit from St Nicholas" also known as 'The Night Before Christmas". She has also assembled an All Star cast of Great Jazz players who include Saxophonist Gerry Niewood and Drummer Darryl Pelegrini from Chuck Mangione's Band and bassist Cameron Brown who has played with everyone from John Lucien to Archie Shepp. Added to this is pianist Dennis Bell who has worked with every one from U2 in rock to Dave Valentin in jazz to Doug E Fresh in hip-hop. Make this a vauable addition to your end of year holiday music collection..
