ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Diana Gard and Sylvia Salget

We met in 1985 performing opposite each other in a lesbian musical called “The Return of the Hammer”, put on by the very popular Front Room Theatre in Seattle Washington. We had our first kiss on stage and have been together ever since.

Because of the general flavor of most of Diana's song lyrics and after a number of serendipitous and miraculous experiences around the world involving the wet stuff, we decided to call ourselves WATER.

Diana writes the songs and Sylvia adds her unique harmonies. We currently bring our music to festivals and private events whenever possible. It feels like shining a light and keeps us growing and vibrant. We hope you enjoy what we have here to share.
