Faster, Please! -The latest recording from WP... five new pop rock tunes recorded by Larry Crane at Jackpot Studios in Portland, OR. Captures the sexy wallop of Watsonville Patio's live performances, and returns to the earnest sound they created with their first self-titled CD...
"If you're looking for a better understanding of Watsonville Patio, think of Sonic Youth or Pavement, but fronted by Chrissie Hynde. "Undertow" is a great example of their catchy and beautifully driven songs off their album, "Faster, please." Don't waste another second and get to know this killer indie band first hand"

The lyrics strike a chord in my soul as the music floats me away.

It's always good to see/hear a band fronted by a strong front-woman. It's even nicer when said front-woman can actually sing. In reviews Janice Grube has been compared to Patti Smith, Shirley Manson, and Chrissie Hynde. That's an impressive list; don't you think? Grube's voice is versatile enough to rock on harder songs such as "Undertow" and "Girlfriend" and to still shine on slower numbers like "Distance" and "On a Shelf". I am absolutely in love with the closing track "On a Shelf", an introspective, beautiful slow tempo tune. The lyrics strike a chord in my soul as the music floats me away.
