Album Notes

Thanks for stopping by, I have spent the past two years writing, and recording the material on the cd. Several of the tracks were written about or influenced by The Adirondacks. There is a special guest performance by Greg Dillon who I would like to thank for his funky Reggae rhythm guitar on "Down in The Tropics" the rest of the music on the cd and vocals I did myself.

Excerpts from an article in the Messenger Post newspaper

Wayne Glaser has several of his songs featured on "Adirondack Trails, Inside the Blue Line, " a new show on the CW Network.
The show covers the nature and various activities that occur throughout the four seasons in the Adirondacks. Glaser's songs are used in segments throughout the show and as the closing theme.

Glaser, who started playing the drums and guitar when he was 14, was presented with the opportunity to write songs for the show after he sent out an e-mail about an Adirondack Web site he created to several people and was contacted by the folks that film and host the show.

"It's something I always wanted to do, " said Glaser of the opportunity. "I have lots of ideas. "

Some of the songs come from Glaser's new CD, "How Long is The Road. " Other songs were written specifically for the show to capture the essence of a particular episode's theme.

"Part of it is getting your music out and letting people enjoy it, " said Glaser. "Music is just another extension of who I am. "

I hope that you enjoy what you hear.

I have also completed an all Adirondack Mountains based cd that is titled "In The Adirondack Air" and just wrapped up production on another cd "Moments in Time".

The way music was meant to be
author: Jeff Kent

In an age where weird noises, screaming, and mumbled poetry are considered by many to be music, it is refreshing to hear an artist play and sing the way music was meant to be. With a folk sound that so obviously pours from the heart, I feel like I'm sitting around a campfire with my family hearing it live.

Everytime I listen to Wayne's album, I envision backyard barbeques with his songs playing. It melds to such an environment because it is natural, casual music; born of enjoyment of life. I have listened to all the tunes on this release over and over. I encourage everyone to purchase it. It is true "feel good" music. Kevin White Mansfield Ct

When telling a friend about Wayne's CD I discribed it as Country and Western New

My wife and I love, How Long is the Road. She is particularly fond of Nothing but the Wind. While carpooling to work I was asked what type of music was on the CD. The first thing that came to mind was, Country and Western New York with just a hint of being Buffettish on a couple tracks. I have given two CD's as gifts to friends already.
