Album Notes

Wayne's journey through life has always been guided by his sheer love of writing and performing music. From a very young age, Wayne began constructing and collecting all kinds of "musical instruments" to pursue his sonic adventures. At the age of sixteen, Wayne embarked on his first "professional" music endeavor when he joined a well-accomplished touring rock band as their drummer. Audiences quickly realized this young musician marched to the beat of his own drumming. His unique style and approach to percussive techniques quickly captured the attention of industry professionals and landed him a spot in the progressive, new age, rock band Seasons of the Wolf.

Within two weeks of joining forces with this innovative act, they signed a deal with Groove Tone records and headed to the recording studio with producer-engineer Bud Snyder, (most noted for his 17 years of work with the Allman Brothers). Wayne went on to record and tour with Seasons of the Wolf for over 7 years. In that time, they performed on 7 internationally released CDs, produced 4 music videos, created their own independent music label Earth Mother Music, and composed music for a variety of films and television programs.
Quickly after Seasons of the Wolf began contributing their talents to the world of film and television, Wayne discovered his passion for that genre of music. With great enthusiasm, Wayne decided to seek additional work in the film industry. Wayne secured his first role as composer for a film entitled Ionopsis. Although Ionopsis never received national attention, Wayne's score did. In early 1998, Wayne's score for Ionopsis was awarded "The Best Original Score of 1997" by the Florida Motion Picture and Television association.

Ionopsis, along with Wayne's earlier projects, served as a springboard and has allowed Wayne to carry on with his work as a composer.

Wayne continues composing for a variety of projects and has now released 2 solo CDs: Ghost Notes and Echoes in Eternity.

Wonderful!

I know he lists Enya and Yanni as a possible influence or similarity. I hear none. This album is so much farther beyond anything either of those 2 artists have achieved. You've made a beautiful album Wayne. Being a recording artist myself, I have a difficult time finding music I really like to listen to. This is one of those albums that I play constantly. Thank you!

Haunting, Breathtaking Music which will leave you spellbound

Okay, to begin with, I really need at least ten stars to express how truly and deeply this album captivated me. From the moment I heard the sound samples, (and as another reviewer pointed out, they don't do this album justice at all), I was completely spellbound. This album captures all of the longing, joy, sorrow, hope and passion of the human soul. The instrumentation is beautiful, the compositional aspects are simply outstanding, and the thematic strains are aching in their beauty. Intense, powerful and radiant, this is an album whose sheer beauty will make your heart skip a few beats. And, like fine wine, it's hard to get enough of listening to it! A real treasure! Bravo, Wayne!

Takes Off Where Ghost Notes Leaves You!

I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of this CD as a gift, as I was moved by Wayne's first release, "Ghost Notes." "Echos" is a musical journey and a story of joy and sorrow, mixed with mystical sounds and marvelous haunting melodies. Wayne ranks among the best I've heard in New Age. His musical style is very unique and very refreshing. This masterpeice will wind you down after a long, hard day, while you relax or drift off to sleep... Great job, Wayne. Can't wait for more. Have already ordered a copy for a close freind! The short samples above don't even give justice to the flow of this CD.
