Album Notes

Adam and Geno met in the spring of 2003, when Geno auditioned for an open guitar slot in the Minneapolis-based Irish hard rock band H block 10. Adam had been playing with that band since college, playing anywhere the band could scrounge a gig, usually only to the brave of heart and the bar owner's dog.

Things eventually came together for the intrepid four however, and after adding Geno's skills to the lineup they started garnering bigger and bigger crowds. The band's success culminated in August with a blistering opening set at the Irish Fair of Minnesota, warming up the thousands-strong crowd for Irish punk sensations Flogging Molly. After this momentous gig, the two decided to focus on Irish music full-time. They formed the Wild Colonial Bhoys in the early fall, and did their first gig in late November 2003.

Since then, the Wild Colonial Bhoys have garnered quick attention and much respect in the Twin Cities Irish music scene. Playing in pubs throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, these two young talents inject passion and a fiery spirit into every song, jamming on everything from modern Irish radio staples to classic rebel ballads. They have added new flavor to the local Irish scene-with their energetic guitar playing and infectious vocal harmonies theirs is definitely a show to see!
