William and Carla Coleman are professional entertainers and recording artists who have been involved in theater nearly their entire adult lives.
They have written, directed and have been featured in a variety of historic and contemporary productions for the stage, performing their highly entertaining Civil War presentations, "Taps," "The Last Rose" and their most recent production, "The haunting War" throughout the United States since 1991.
They also produce and record historically accurate collections of period and original Civil War and Gospel music, punctuated by haunting voices from the past.
Their Civil War collection includes: "The Haunting War," (2005) "Tenting Tonight," (2006) "The Last Roses," (2001) "Chantilly Remembrance," (1998) and "Tunes of Glory," (1996)
"Turn Your Radio On!"(2003)is their collection of Gospel favorites from the early part of the 20th century.

My First/My Favorite

This was the first recording of the Coleman's that I purchased, and as a CW Reenator, it hit a spot in me that left me wanting more. I own every recording that they have made, and I have had the most honored pleasure of sitting with Bill & Carla and singing along with them. If you love the Civil War, Civil War music, or just good old Folk music played in the tradition of the 19th century, look no farther than the Colemans.
