Long ago in a tiny cabin two young aliens found that more than re-wiring motherboards, they liked writing music together. Music whose individual contributions are indistinguishable from the finished concept. Music of beats and peaks, low end and delicacy. Sometimes they sang, sometimes the music was enough.
Emma is the brain child of songwriters Erin McKeown and Allison Miller. Here now is their self-titled debut album. Produced and Mixed by Todd Sickafoose and Emma, the bulk of the album was recorded live in two days. Joining Emma in the studio are Erik Deutsch (keys), Jenny Scheinman (violin), Erik Lawrence (horns), Tina Richerson (horns), Jessica Lurie (horns), and Art Baron (horns).
We are Emma and we want your heart.
