ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Parade is Carrie Hodge (Vocals, Bass, Keyboards), Emily Martin (Bass, Keyboards), Jason Chamison (Drums) and Scott Trinh (Guitars). They play "unrestrained but elegant pop". The current lineup formed in August 2003 and they released The P EP in the summer of 2004.

A Red Button, their first full-length, was recorded at Downtown Athens Recording Company by Asa Leffer and Eric Friar in Athens, Georgia during March 2005. It was mixed by Asa Leffer and Parade in March/April 2005 and mastered by Glenn Schick in May 2005. It was released independantly on August 4th 2005, and is currently distributed by the band via their website and at shows.

"Parade is a reason to get excited about pop music again." - Flagpole, May 2004
"To see such a young band playing such pretty yet gritty power pop with style makes me feel old; I can only imagine, however, that it would have some other less-polished local bands feeling a lot older." - Flagpole, June 2005

One to keep an ear on
Parade are really special. I bought the 2007 EP Answer Me and liked it so much I bought this and a few of their singles. This band are not only great to listen to but they are also great people - they went above and beyond to help me out with a defective CD. Parade rock!
