Album Notes

weatherhead is surely a unique item! rarely do you find industrial (and its sub-genres) compilations out in the stores. this compilation has it all: industrial, electro, ebm, idm, goth...you name it, it's here! weatherhead is a ten track cd compilation featuring some of the best bands you've never heard of. in this volume (cause there will be more), there are bands from california, florida, canada and even germany! its customer friendly pricing will attract even more potential consumers...below is a brief bio on the bands:

suburban prototype: this southern florida based duo (trudeaux and bleigh) made the abrupt change from ebm into what they call "theatrical industrial music". according to them, this means electronic music that creates images in your head i.e., thought-provoking lyrics with unusual rhythms! their debut ep will be released in spring 2006 on the telegrammetry label...

deep red: already a popular name among the goth-industrialists, deep red is featured here with an exclusive unreleased mix of one of their popular tracks on the "chimera" cd. with a new lead vocalist aboard, deep red is recording their new cd as we speak! deep red mastermind, dc astro, is also responsible for telegrammetry's first release, element 104, a throwback to the synth-rock sound of the 80's!

divider: divider is the ebm project of bryon wilson. divider started in the mid-90's as an experimental ebm project influenced by nitzer ebb, new order and front line assembly. never afraid to cross borders, divider has always intended to be progressive in the realm of ebm. thus, divider's sound is constantly evolving!

acidic dreamer: from canada, this quartet receives the prize for the most unusual names for its members! they are [:syn-6:], methos, sintex and entity...talk about science fiction! acidic dreamer will keep you wondering what they're going to be like next since they are constantly evolving their sound!

haven sole: haven sole started out as james sadler's solo industrial project. through the years, he has worked with many other artists coming and going from the project. james started writing music in the mid 90's as a folk musician. audiences flocked to the coffee houses he played at just to hear his earth shattering voice. after 2 years of this, his musical interest started to waver and shift to darker styles.

taxim: with 10 releases since 1997 under the belt, taxim a/k/a/ alex n., is no newcomer whatsoever. representing germany on the weatherhead compilation, taxim has a flawless sound reminiscent to 80's industrial-pop group propaganda (also german!).

flawed: flawed is an industrial metal band that emerged from the san fernando valley. the group is composed of vince on bass, jestex on keyboards & programming, avi on guitar, vocals & programming & jon hades on guitar & effects. this quartet, which started out as a joke, has matured to sound like rammstein (sans the german).

gewalt kubikzahl: after losing everything to computer failure, daemon noir decided to abandon standard electronic music to create something different: a more human involved musical creation; i.e., live keyboards and percussion. hooking up with long-time friend, ernst bishop, they began their new project: a two-man electro-industrial project without the use of computers! included here on weatherhead is one of their newest tracks!

mordacious: mordacious (that is his real name!) creates some of the creepiest industrialmusic you will ever hear! his tracks are bound to end up as soundtrack music for slasher flicks!

rc drone: marc b.'s project, rc drone, began in late 1996 whose musical influences came from industrial acts from the late 80's and mid 90's. a straight forward instrumental industrial track featured here!
