notes

Freddie Weber's music is inspiring, uplifting and often with a metaphysical leaning, as spiritual matters and the human situation color her lyrical jazz songs. Her unique style can be reflective and moving or upbeat and finger snapping and always with interesting musical dynamics and delicious chord changes.

Ms. Weber's composing and vocal styling is also unique, and not only does she write original musical and lyrics, she performs all the vocals as well as playing keyboard and other musical instruments.

Freddie Weber is an award-winning actress, playwright, singer, composer, musician, speaker and author. She is becoming increasingly well known for writing, recording and performing inspirational and spiritual songs in the jazz idiom. Freddie has been presenting her original music in concerts and in musical metaphysical workshops throughout the United States. Freddie finds these appearances personally gratifying and fulfilling.

For her theatrical work, she has been honored with the New York Critic's Award, Off-Broadway's most prestigious Obie Award, and also the Theatre World Award for Best Actress in a musical for her work in Gretchen Cryer's THE LAST SWEET DAYS OF ISAAC.

Freddie received great reviews for her play SIX WOMEN ON A STAGE, and her musical entitled TWO won critical acclaim in its Off-Broadway and Chicago runs. On the West Coast, it garnered the Los Angeles Dramalogue Award.

Freddie Weber has a variety of music available on CD BABY with the titles: BRIGHT YELLOW, WE'RE ALL ONE, RED-ORIGINAL JAZZ LOVE SONGS, THERE'S AN ANGEL INSIDE, and CHOCOLATE TAUGHT ME HOW TO LOVE.
