Once again Lucy has opened her journal and allowed us to see and hear her honest thoughts. She coins her style as-"folk music that's all revved up!"

The music on KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED took over a year to record. This is art and sometimes art takes time. I love all the tunes on this disc....especially the 2 bonus tracks where I do my best Tom Waits imitation.

KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED was the perfect title Webster says for a second project. I believe that life will throw us curves and we need to be reassured that things will change sooner or later. KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED is a sign of hope, plain and simple. I choose to be optimistic that things will eventually work out for good, even though life is hard. That's the spirit I'd like folks to hear, they in turn can keep their fingers crossed and be encouraged one more day. Music is a wonderful healer.

The disc has Lucy playing 2 solo acoustic guitar pieces while the rest of the songs are full arrangements including mandolin, fiddle, 6 string fretless bass, stand up bass, drums, electric/acoustic guitar, marimba, accordion and even hammer dulcimer.

Take a listen...what do you hear?
