Great Stuff!!!!!

I met Bo Weevil at the 2006 International Blues Challenge in Memphis,Tennessee. It was there that I got my hands on a copy of "Come From Here", and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite discs. He's a excellent guitar-picker, ivory-tickler, singer. Every song on the album has it's own great flavor and they simmer together to create a 3alarm gumbo that'll satisfy the most voracious 'good time music' appetite. BUY IT!!!!!!!

a significant talent more to come
author: Ben
Just a real solid song writer, raw talent with a smooth delivery, one gets the feeling you have just scratched the surface of Bo's melodies and phrases. This CD is a must when I'm on the road, I can put it on and let it play through and I continue to enjoy the layers of riffs and finger picking that Bo has put together in this effort.

Well worth a listen, or two, or three, ....
author: Al Pepiak - "Guitar Digest"
Who is Bo Weevil? The sidekick of some old blues man like, Robert Johnson, Blind Blake or Mississippi John Hurt? Maybe he is the kin of Woody Guthrie, or the likes of Dave Van Ronk, or Rambling Jack Elliot? Or is he a brother to Fats Domino, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Dr. John? Well, maybe he is all of these and more.
Bo Weevil's debut Cd "Come from Here" is a serious eclectic blend of various musical styles that span, Blues, Jump Blues, Chicago Blues, New Orleans, Honky Tonk, Rhythm and Blues, folk, and rock. The nine tunes take you through a musical journey that is varied and interesting.
Opening the CD is "Headed Down the Highway", a lazy finger picking, sitting on the back porch on a summer evening sort of tune. "Going Home" another acoustic tune shares the traveling theme which is finished with the title track "Come From Here"
"Baton Rouge Blues" sounds as if it was lifted from a Dr. John LP and Bo displays his virtuosity on Keyboards and Guitars. "Boom Boom Boom" could have easily fit on a Blues Brothers LP, and I could hear the frat boys singing the chorus. An offering like this would not be complete without a drinking song, and Bo offers "Sad, Sad Song".
It is difficult to pin this CD down to one style. There are many influences displayed and done very well. The songs are all well recorded and executed. Well worth a listen or two or three.

Excellent variety of acoustic blues
author: Tom Byers
I like both guitar-based and piano-based acoustic blues, and seldom get both on the same CD. Great writing and great playing, and enjoyable to have the mix of some guitar and some piano tunes.
