Bo Weevil & Rottin Cottin This high energy band has been shakin’ the walls of juke joints in Maryland and Virginia for over three years. Because of the unique blend of rootsy blues, country, and early Memphis rock ‘n roll, they’ve decided to call their music “DownHomeabilly”. There’s no way to keep still when watching ‘em live listening to this live CD. Recorded over two different nights at their local watering hole Venuti’s in Frederick, Maryland, LIVE captures the energy, jam, and DownHomeabilliness of their sound. Bo Weevil grew up in a musically family, spent 11 years gigging in Atlanta, and moved up to Maryland several years ago. He’s into his 18th year of gigging throughout the South and now the East Coast. He plays the acoustic guitar, is an avid fan of Travis Pickin’, sings, composes, and plays harmonica. Brent Burgee hails from Frederick, Maryland.
