Jason Weintraub, English horn, and Nancy Weintraub, piano, met and married at the Eastman School of Music forty-five years ago. Throughout their life they've played music together. The warm tone of the English horn suits itself to romantic, elegant pieces, often from Broadway Shows or Opera. Nancy likes to emphasize Gershwin and the Romantics of piano literature. The couple lives in Bradenton, FL every winter, and they take part in the Chautauqua Institution in the summers. This is their forty=first summer at Chautauqua, where Jason plays in the orchestra, is Personnel Manager, and conducts the Chautauqua Community Band.
