ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The age of Nuclear Psychology is upon us!
With the release of its latest EP, Weird Owl has revealed a deeper and heavier peek into its ever-burgeoning mindsets and soundscapes. Recorded by Gerard Garone (Radio 4) and Harley Zinger (live sound, Interpol) at Seaside Lounge Studios in Brooklyn, the songs on “Nuclear Psychology” find the band carefully removing some of the more frivolous layers of flesh and matter from the body of its previous recordings in order to form a more precise sonic representation of the pure ghosts haunting Weird Owl. Already gaining accolades such as “imminent cosmic impact” and being compared to Crazy Horse and Built to Spill “on your favorite drugs”, Nuclear Psychology is a heavy portent of things to come from the Brooklyn psych band.
