Album Notes

In 2006 We Kids Rock was formed by singer/songwriter/musician Bill Currier dedicated to the idea that the best music for little ones is music that they and their parents can enjoy together.

We Kids Rock’s first cd “Everybody Clap Your Hands” was released in January 2007.

In January 2008 We Kids Rock’s second cd “Let The Sun Shine” was released.

2008 NAPPA award winner “Let The Sun Shine” features catchy originals as well as traditional favorites in the style of early Rock’n’Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Punk, Ska and Country. Guest musicians include Johnny Neel (Allman Brothers, Johnny Neel Band), Hank Carter (George Thorogood Band), Simon Illa (R&B Producer), Nik Everett (acclaimed singer songwriter), Wally Smith (Quincy, Crosstown Traffic) and Marc Moss (production credits include David Bromberg, and Cliff Hillis).

So much fun!

My two year old has been listening to "We Kids Rock" since he was ten months old and neither one of us has grown tired of it. We have it on in the car all the time and he is constantly asking me to "turn it up!" On a recent family car trip their uncle said "This music is like The Ramones for little kids!" Now my infant daughter is enjoying the music. They think it is fun and I like it because it encourages movement & rhythm, as well as works on memory and counting skills. And it is something fun we can all do as a family!

We LOVE We Kids Rock!

My son loves the "We Kids Rock" music. It's a cool twist on fun familiar classics plus original music too. Nice variety of rock'n songs and mellow tunes and unlike a lot of the kids stuff out there, this is one the kids will love and the parents wont get sick of. I recommend it. (Our favorite is Dinosaur)

Bill made such an impression on my oldest son, that at the age of 4 he now has 3 guitars! My second son, who sees a speech therapist weekly, is now singing all the lyrics of EACH song on the CD!The CD provides upbeat and mellow tunes, with catchy lyrics, that I find myself singing all day. As Will says, "More Bill please! More louder!!"
