Chicago singer/songwriter Debe Welch distinguishes herself with strong songwriting ability. Memorable guitar melodies and distinctive rhythms will keep listeners engaged from beginning to end. She sings her songs with passion and honesty, and each tells a story that captivates.

The title track, "Crazy," is about people who only know how to settle for less in life. "Over You" starts with a smooth acoustic rhythm and has a melodic country flare produced by the addition of mandolin. "Song For Anna," also has a catchy mandolin part that will remind you of a Doobie Brothers song. The bluesy sound of "One Kiss" showcases Debe's versatility. The classic rock sounds of "I Just Fell In Love" and "Goodbye American Dream" add another dimension to this collection, and "If The Love Is Strong" has a haunting guitar lead reminiscent of Steely Dan's earlier music. Track 3, "Can't Find Time", is a song about marriage and family. As the lifestyle unfolds in the chorus, "Outside everything looks fine, but it's way past Prozac time and she'd like to lose her mind, but she can't find time", many of Debe's listeners tell her they identify a piece of their own lives in her writing.

This CD boasts a variety of musical style & craftsmanship. Not only is Debe a solid songwriter with a beautiful voice and a knack for harmonies, she is surrounded by a group of talented band mates who make this production rock.
