Suzanne Weller is a multi-instrumentalist, professional flutist, and recording artist from Northern California. As a performer, Suzanne has appeared in solo recitals, orchestras and chamber groups throughout the state of California. Currently, Suzanne is a student of recording arts and music technology and is working on a career of composing for TV, commercials and film as well as producing and engineering recordings for herself and others. She performs regularly in classical chamber music settings, as well as with Celtic bands and small jazz ensembles. Suzanne holds a B.A. in Music Performance from San Jose State University where she studied composition, music theory and orchestration with the world-famous composer Lou Harrison. Suzanne's flute teachers have included Isabelle Chapuis from the Paris Conservatory and Frances Blaisdell of Stanford University.

A Delight!

These lovely songs are given fresh life on this recording. All the musicians play beautifully, and Suzanne transports you to an otherworldy and peaceful place with her playing. The use of ambient sounds sets the separate pieces in a unique and perfect way in relation to each other.

This Cd creates a feeling of peace and relaxation from the very first note. Celtic folk is my favorite genre and the recording quality, the unique arrangements and the exceptional playing all combine to make a fantastic recording. I love the way the tunes are linked with environmental sounds.
