Born in late 2004, Well Rose was brought into a world richly diverse in music. Hailing from San Diego, its creators Tyler Lunde and Sean McDougal were able to watch musical trends come and go as quickly as the seasons change. While many new records were appreciated, the unadulterated voices of the 60’s continued to speak from their turntables. So here they stand tall, with 20 year-old bodies and 60 year-old souls, embarking on a journey to bring back America’s beloved folk mixed with a heavy dose of Brit-pop and vigorously blend the two along with a side of today’s popular music.

Well Rose is a unique blend of guitar, mandolin and piano - with a bit of harmonica, squeezebox and drums thrown in. I am completely addicted to their cd! EVERYONE should have their cd and play it endlessly :-)
