Album Notes

Wendy Lee and Garry Brunton first met each other in 2003, through a mutual acquaintance who knew that Wendy Lee writes. This mutual friend wondered if Wendy would be interested in writing a song for a man (Garry) who sang incredibly well. She took the challenge and met Garry and heard him sing. Taken with his honey-sweet, soulful, easy-flowing voice and style, she went home that night and got started. The song,"Wireman" was born out of this meeting, and one month later, they recorded it at Deal Studio, in Redmond, Washington. After that time, Wendy continued to write for Garry, noting that it was a nice change to write for a man. They were also applauded heartily when they performed together. Not only are they both very polished and versatile singers, but together, their voices and harmonies are beyond awesome! In 2006, Wendy Lee produced the CD, "Please Send Money" featuring Garry Brunton.Wendy's daughter, Kimberly Coyne, did all the photography and software design. The old truck was actually garry's father's main mode of transportation as he worked to log the woods of northern Idaho. Garry's daughter, Jamie Brunton, sings high harmonies on the song, "Wireman", and Wendy Lee's own father actually sings "Things I Adore", a song that she wrote for him to sing about his and her mother's relationship. This will pull at your heartstrings. Wendy's father, Marvin Vernon, is 82 years old! This CD is very professionally created and produced, with the help of some very accomplished and professional musician friends, who have lent their love to this very electric project! It's truly a must have, and damn good music!!
