Excellent and Inspired!
author: Ruadhan McElroy
Wendy Rule is an amazing talent among Pagan musicians. In a "scene" where effort and intent is often treated as being just as valid as, if not more so than talent, Ms. Rule shows that there _are_, in fact, trult talented and gifted Pagan musicians who have the capabilities of displaying not only excellent skills, but will amaze you with how inspired and heartfelt their lovingly crafted compositions are.
_The Lotus Eaters_ was largely inspired by The Odyssey, but takes bits of inspiration from other well-known and well-loved ancient Greek mythos, and both lyrics and music are crafted in such a way to endear her art to anybody who honours the Gods of ancient Greece -- from eclectic Neo-Pagans with an Hellenic bend to even "hard-nosed" Reconstructionists.
A must-have for anybody who reads Homer for fun!
