In the 2006-2007 Unisong International Songwriting Contest, Spiro's songs, "The Dance" and "Road to Lemmart" were Top 20 Finalist Winners in the World Music category; "The Lady" received Honorable Mention in the World Music category.

In the 2007 U.S.A. Songwriting Competition, Spiro's song, "Road to Lemmart" was a Finalist in the World Music category.

In the 2007 Great American Song Contest, Spiro's song, "The Dance" received an Honor Award in the World Music category.
