Wersja de Lux are a 9 piece 2Tone style ska band from Gdynia, Poland. They play a very catchy retro style of ska with a dash of rock'n'roll. The band was formed in 2004 and have released a few songs on compilations along with this current full length record. They have toured around Europe and played alongside such bands as : Westbound Train(USA), The Valkyrians(FIN), The Liptones(SWE), Akurat, Sidney Polak, Vespa and Skankan.

One of the more unique things about the band is the covers they have chosen to play, which solidly places them into the 80's ska / pop sound that they are embracing. Covers such as "Call Me" by Blondie, "KKK (Took My Baby Away)" by the Ramones and "On My Radio" by The Selecter. All of which are great sounding covers in a very straight forward fashion.

If you are looking for some feel good upbeat ska, this band is sure to deliver. No dubs, no instrumentals, no boring long drawn out solos, just up tempo lyrical driven ska music.
