Danceable beats combined with jazz and rock guitar licks, with an easy listening format, makes Wes Adams’ introductory CD Illusions a great showcase of his young talent.
On Illusions Wes plays all instruments including piano, guitar, and flute. Wes then combines voiced keyboards to add background drums, base, horns, violins, and other instruments to complete the mix. On the tracks Illusions, Make It Happen, and Devotion, vocal tracks are added by the beautifully toned Miss Kiranda Marshall.
All tracks are original compositions except for Wes’ upbeat rendition of Chick Corea’s 500 Miles High. All songs are recorded and mastered by Wes in his personal studio.
Illusions has something to offer for all music lovers. The rock guitar in Parallels and Devotion, the flute in Illusions and The 12:30 Sessions and the dance techno sounds of Make It Happen and New Way of Life show the variety of Wes’ musical abilities. This is truly a showcase compilation of an extremely talented musician.
