Traditional bluegrass with new original music and some great songs that you might already know.
Wes Miller is the real thing. He hails from southeast Indiana. Born in the hills. Lives in the hills. And he sings and picks about the things that go on in the hills.
Volume One is a collection of Wes’s favorite traditional bluegrass and country songs with an original written by his father, James Miller, “Kentucky Ain’t Kentucky Anymore.”
In additional to Wes’s signature guitar picking and singing is younger brother, Joel Miller's, banjo playing. Joel is known around southeast Indiana and further as one of the area's most accomplished banjo players.
You see, in the Miller family, bluegrass picking and playing is a way of life. Some think that’s it’s because of where they come from. Others think that it might have something to do with DNA.
Either way, if you enjoy old country and bluegrass, you’re going like this pure and authentic string and vocal music from the hills and farm country of southeast Indiana.
Wes Miller is a Shed Music recording artist with 5 released albums.
