The mist of the fog on the tip of your tongue as you're standing in the station--a steadfast attitude of "don't pin me down," garagey angst and delicious self-pity with a dose of irony that's better than fifteen minutes of fame.

Whale Blue Eye Won't leave you feeling blue!
author: Jeftyrules
I decided to experiment with CD baby becuse I was tired with the cliche pop ballads being sputtered out by the radio stations nowadays. I am happy to say that after listening to 'Dizzy With Joy' my hopes were met.
Whale Blue Eye is a traditional three piece band, but they end up composing some really cool sounding stuff. The lyrics are ofen poetic and are a nice change from the love ballads that everyone and their mother seem to be able to write. (Check out 'Pretty Picture' and 'Psychic Faire' for some different-than-normal lyrics that make great songs. I also really liked some of the guitar riffs in 'Psychic Faire'.)
My favorite song on the album is 'Standing In The Station,' it has one of those tunes and beats that can't help but get stuck in your head. I actully caught myself singing it this morning while shaving.
Obviusly, the title track, 'Dizzy with Joy' is a great song, but it is surely not the only one on the album.
I was very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking specifically for a rock/alternative album, or just a solid album in general.
