Album Notes

Wheeling Bitch Circus started off in 1998 with guitarists Nate DiDonato and Sean Ciccone, drummer Mike Carlin, and bassist John Walton. They were writing original, catchy metal locally in a swarm of generic hardcore and punk bands. They released a tape demo the next year which sold perhaps a few dozen copies, then went on to make a full-length, self-titled album after acquiring lead singer Allan Eustace. A few lineup changes later (John, Mike, and Sean left), they went on to record, "Era" with bassist Andy Barndt, drummer John Rowe, and additional guitarist Matt Grill. Steve Romano soon entered as third guitarist. In 2006, WBC released their third album, "Fallen Angel".

WBC has had their share of local shows and bar gigs, but their biggest and most prominant display was opening slot for the Louder Harder Faster Metalfest in Allentown, PA on June 3rd, 2005. This event featured huge metal acts such as Turmoil, God Forbid, Jag Panzer, Trouble, Testament, Nuclear Assault, and many more (clips of WBC's performance are on Youtube and full footage is available on DVD).

Here are some quick press excerpts:
"Wheeling Bitch Circus describe their style as "aggressive and melodic heavy metal", and after one listen to their album, I think you'll understand why! The band's three-guitar punch ensures a consistently full sound, even during Nate's awe-inspiring guitar leads and solos. WBC's grooves are tight and their songwriting highly polished, and Al's vocals range from highly melodic to throat-annihilating screaming. This is heavy metal the way it should be played!" - Andy Myers of rockinpa.com

"Friday, 6:00pm, The weekend kicks off and Tgod was front and center. A Pennsylvania band called WHEELING BITCH CIRCUS kicked the party off. It was a good start. They were loud and fast. The new form of 'speed' that has emerged. Speed without the leather and spikes. Good, loud, fast Rock'N'Roll! See, the Pennsylvanians only suck behind the wheel on route 78." - Louder Harder Faster Metalfest review by Tgod of 666metal.com

"We like Wheeling Bitch Circus PLENTY..." - Tommy Conwell, 94.1 WYSP Philadelphia

"Another of the young bands was the Wheeling Bitch Circus, who was led by a lab coat-wearing freak named Al Eustace, and his band, which included three guitarists! The lead axe-man is an animal named Nate DiDonato who WBC rhythm guitarist Steve Romano described as having 'taken lessons, and damn did it pay off.' Steve, I’d have to agree with you, young buck." - Louder Harder Faster Metalfest review by Matthew Hoffman of Hardrockhaven.net
